Tenants of Faith
The National Weekend of Prayer to End Slavery and Trafficking is a Christian organization that invites all believers and people of Faith in God, (Jehovah) who have a desire to end the injustice of Modern Day Slavery. We believe that the issue of Human Trafficking transcends politics and is an apolitical issue that impacts and effects us all.
As such we welcome the participation of churches, organizations, businesses and individuals who understand that our core belief is best stated in the Apostles Creed, and have no conflict of conscience in standing with those who adhere to it’s tenants.
The National Weekend of Prayer believes in “God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, in Jesus Christ His only begotten Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, died and buried. On the third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Ghost, (Holy Spirit) we believe in the holy catholic (universal) church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and everlasting (eternal) life.”
